Absolutely loved this farmhouse , the peace & tranquility was truely an experience , and well needed in our busy life , and made it special to spend quality time together as a family , such a gem of a find and especially to spend our 9th wedding anniversary here was extra special , We were so happily surprised to have found a homemade fresh cream cake sitting in the fridge baked freshly by the owner Janet , such a lovely treat , that we appreciated so much , loved the farm animals also just so relaxing watching life at such a slow pace So thank you . Will definitely return .

A beautiful home in a lovely countryside setting. Everything we needed for our three generational family was there. Everyone loved the interaction with the cows and chickens particularly our youngest member who is desperate for a return visit. We all loved our stay x

Beautiful home and a equally beautiful location. The home was well equipped and perfect for our family of 5. Our host was amazing, welcoming us with a homemade cake upon arrival, incredibly responsive and offering local recommendations. The home is exactly as described. Would definitely come back!

We were excited for our stay at The Distillery Holiday Cottage, but it far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a warm welcome from Janet, we felt like we were at home. The guestbook tells the story of many other families who have fallen in love with this home and the area; just as we have. Whether it was eating the oh so delicious homemade cake that Janet left for us or having an impromptu conversation with Jim in the driveway, we enjoyed every moment of our stay and plan to come back many more times.

The Distillery exceeded our expectations! Clean, fully equipped and easy to find. we appreciated the surroundings, Janet's quick replies and the special touches, like a he made cake and fresh milk in the fridge. Each one of us commented on how perfect this AirBnB is. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful house and surroundings. It worked perfectly for the six of us. Very comfortable, spacious house. Wish we could have stayed a week! Groceries nearby if you want to cook at home. Probably our favorite place in our two weeks in the U.K.
